Island Academy’s Friends and Family Organization is a vital part of our school’s community raising funds for many of the resources our students enjoy and running events which give a real sense of community.
From book sales, reading buddies or our annual Halloween Party – Spookapalooza or IA’s Got Talent, our parents and friends help make sure events run smoothly and provide a great opportunity to meet other families and supporters of the school.
Volunteers are always welcome, whether its for assisting our staff through our annual teacher appreciation celebrations, helping decorate the school for fundraisers or talking to our students about careers and opportunities we are forever grateful for community support. As a group, we are always open to new ideas to develop our school. So please come and join us!
