As an International school we strive to instil students with an awareness of their place in the wider world and the benefits which come from diversity. Our curriculum and standards reflect this focus and students who study here are well equipped to transfer anywhere else in the world.
The 10, IB learner profile characteristics are at the heart of everything we do at the school and each month we celebrate one of them through our curriculum and our assemblies. They ensure we are focussed on building a strong community and how we can be better global citizens. The characteristics are:
Our school motto is ‘Unity Through Diversity’ and we strive to ensure this sentiment runs through our whole school. We actively celebrate our diversity through participating in global events such as Black History Month, World Book Day and International Flag Day. We also study the major world religions and actively include regional writers, scientists, artists and other experts within our curriculum to ensure it reflects our global outlook.
